GENERAL

In the latest update, we are expanding the functions for customer-specific discount rates by now also enabling discounts based on customer groups. In addition, we have fixed several bugs to further improve the user experience.

NEW FUNCTIONS

Expansion of customer-specific discount rates based on customer groups

  1. Customer group-based discounts: Define specific discount levels for different customer groups to offer customized price advantages. This enables flexible and targeted pricing that is tailored to the needs and purchasing behavior of the respective customer group.

  2. Automatic assignment: Customers are automatically assigned to the appropriate discounts based on their customer group. This minimizes the administrative effort and ensures that all customers always receive the discounts that apply to them.

  3. Transparent pricing: The discounts applied are clearly displayed in the customer accounts and on the order pages, increasing transparency for your customers and building trust.

  4. Scalability: This function is particularly useful for companies that work with a large number of customers and different customer segments. It is scalable and can be adapted to the needs of growing companies.

DEVELOPER NEWS

Migration from 2.X.X to | 2.2.1

Updating from 2.X.X to the latest version is quite simple: (If your store is still running on 1.X.X, please note the migration 2.0.0 and 2.1.0 in advance).

Option 1: Via the Shopware admin area

1. upload the ZIP file in the plugin list
2. after that you have to click on "update" for the plugin "B2Bsellers Suite
3. then delete the cache.
4. finished, your B2Bsellers plugin has been updated to the latest version.

Option 2: Via the Console

1. delete all files under "custom/plugins/b2bsellerscore
2. upload all files from the ZIP into this folder again
3. execute "bin/console plugin:list && plugin:update b2bsellercore
3. then delete the cache.
5. finished, your B2Bsellers plugin has been updated to the latest version.

Option 3: Per Composer:

1. first request an access to our Packagist account.
2. perform "composer update b2b-sellers/core
3. you still need to build the storefront, the admin and the B2B platform
3. then delete the cache.
5. finished, your B2Bsellers plugin has been updated to the latest version.

Of course we recommend to run and test the update on a development environment first.
