B2Bsellers - Release 2.0.0

GENERAL

We are pleased to announce the release of B2BSellers Suite 2.0.0.

Our new Major Version 2.X.X is now compatible with Shopware version 6.5 (min. 6.5.1) and offers a seamless integration into Shopware.

With numerous updates due to the Shopware 6.5 update (e.g. Bootstrap framework, Symfony update, Route Annotations ...), we have improved the stability and performance of the B2Bsellers Suite so that you have an optimal user experience. Thank you for your support!

Major improvements

BCS-1216 The B2Bsellers Suite is now compatible with Shopware 6.5 version (min. 6.5.1)

This includes many small tasks that are performed in the Documentation are described in detail.

It is not possible to use version 2.0.0 and all future releases released under 2.x.x with Shopware version 6.4. This is therefore a breaking change.

DEVELOPER NEWS

Migration from 1.X.X to 2.0.0

The update from 1.X.X to version 2.0.0 is almost as easy as the releases before. But of course you have to follow the recommended procedure from Shopware. Shopware has some new features with the update. Therefore, you should take a little more time than before.
Please update Shopware min. 6.5.1.X before updating B2Bsellers Suite.

Option 1: Via the Shopware admin area

1. upload the ZIP file in the plugin list
2. after that you have to click on "update" for the plugin "B2Bsellers Suite
3. then delete the cache.
4. finished, your B2Bsellers plugin has been updated to 2.0.0.

Option 2: Via the Console

1. delete all files under "custom/plugins/b2bsellerscore
2. upload all files from the ZIP into this folder again
3. execute "bin/console plugin:list && plugin:update b2bsellercore
3. then delete the cache.
5. finished, your B2Bsellers plugin has been updated to 2.0.0.

Option 3: Per Composer:

1. first request an access to our Packagist account.
2. perform "composer update b2b-sellers/core
3. you still need to build the storefront, the admin and the B2B platform
3. then delete the cache.
5. finished, your B2Bsellers plugin has been updated to 2.0.0.

Of course we recommend to run and test the update on a development environment first.
