B2Bsellers – Release 3.4.0 | 2.5.0

General

With versions 3.4.0 and 2.5.0, we are releasing one of the most extensive updates in recent months. The focus is on expanding the quotation function - with the aim of supporting sales teams even better in their daily work.

Smart quotation sync with the shop system
The quotation process has been specifically improved by introducing an intelligent comparison with the current Shopware shopping cart. When saving a quote, the system automatically checks whether key parameters – such as prices, availability, shipping methods, or product descriptions – have changed since the quote was created. If the data in the quote no longer matches the current state of the shop, the discrepancies are clearly displayed – including specific suggestions for changes. These suggestions can either be applied selectively or deliberately rejected to retain individual adjustments. This provides a solid decision-making basis, especially when extending older quotes.

Further improvements and optimizations
In addition, the update includes many technical enhancements, such as:

  • Improved user guidance for multiple company assignments: Employees associated with numerous companies – e.g., across different locations – can now specifically search for the desired company in the company selection. Instead of loading all companies at once, only relevant matches are displayed. This reduces the list to just a few entries and prevents potential performance issues in the interface.
  • New configuration options, such as controlling the visibility of quote request buttons at channel level or enabling usage statistics via opt-in.
  • Numerous bug fixes , including issues related to tax calculation in quotes, product number display, filter logic, translations, and cart management.

DEVELOPER NEWS

Migration from 3.X.X | 2.X.X to 3.4.0 | 2.5.0

Updating from 3.X.X or 2.X.X to the latest version is quite simple:

Option 1: Via the Shopware admin area

1. upload the ZIP file in the plugin list
2. after that you have to click on "update" for the plugin "B2Bsellers Suite
3. then delete the cache.
4. finished, your B2Bsellers plugin has been updated to the latest version.

Option 2: Via the Console

1. delete all files under "custom/plugins/b2bsellerscore
2. upload all files from the ZIP into this folder again
3. execute "bin/console plugin:list && plugin:update b2bsellercore
3. then delete the cache.
5. finished, your B2Bsellers plugin has been updated to the latest version.

Option 3: Per Composer:

1. first request an access to our Packagist account.
2. perform "composer update b2b-sellers/core
3. you still need to build the storefront, the admin and the B2B platform
3. then delete the cache.
5. finished, your B2Bsellers plugin has been updated to the latest version.

Of course we recommend to run and test the update on a development environment first.
